Mean People

I hate it that so much of our world is full of evil people. I'm not talking about like Osama Bin Laden (even though he IS evil) or whatever. I'm talking about people at school, co-workers, just everyday people. And Maxine says the girls at Dr. Wooley's office are mean, even though I think they're ijobuby. I have a strange ability to see the best of people, even if other people may be blinded to that. But I also can see all the other bad things a lot easier. I've been told that I'm "so nice, you're never mean to anyone, geez Christine!" Well I think that those people are completely wrong. I treat people the way i want to be treated, no exceptions. None. And I mean it. A lot of people I know, including certain friends of mine, say this all the time....complaining about how people don't accept them or are mean to them or talk about them behind their backs, etc. but they themselves are hypocrites! I absolutely DESPISE that. I hate it when people contradict themselves. And teachers are people, too. Lots of people call them "F---ing a--holes" and such, but have you ever thought about THEIR feelings? I didn't think so. The only person I think of who is that nice, is God or Jesus, or Mary....people like that. But I think it'd be pretty weird and impossible (impossible to talk to Jesus directly right away.....you have to have a REALLY good connection.....work for it...you know the deal.....or maybe you don't.....whatever.) if I started walking around acting like I'm talking to Jesus. It'd be funny, but I don't have that special connection. ^_^. Anyway, that's what I have to say....so really make an effort to treat others with respect and nicely, even if they treat you horribly. I know.....it's not that easy, but nobody said it would be. And I'm not saying I'm a saint, MAXINE, because I definitely am NOT. I know what you're thinking, "You mean you're just expecting us to love everyone who treats us like crap?" No. That's NOT what I'm saying. Say someone pushed me over in the halls. The way i'd respond would be to give them a questioning look, get up and leave. Not cuss at them, or even worse, punch them or something. Doing something like that would only make you sink to their level. Even worse is when people are mean to people who aren't even meaning to offend them (i.e. certain Nicks I know....) Bye bye santas! The usual....
